Finally, after enough contemplation, I've decided to obtain an Xbox Series S while the economy changes and console gaming is increasingly expensive. I couldn't resist obtaining the Series S on a seemingly rare discount as more Xbox products are going out of stock or raising prices higher. There's an avalanche of media that couldn't be experienced without it and I decided it's time to prepare for the future with my collection. Now, I won't feel left behind as long as I did with only having the OG Xbox + 360!
That's totally interesting and weird how suddenly DRP has been completely downgraded to $5 a week. Things used to be more expanded with games and higher redemption rewards. But now suddenly they've cut back on how much money users could earn and redeem. It's important to think about this because prices on the official Dell website have increased and some people only redeem $50 after an elongated cooldown period. Something clearly happened behind-the-scenes and that has severely impacted the user experience.
Well, we've officially gotten our newest game that promises to give us ARP to use. I'm surprised there's no DRP because it would've been a great addition to the prizes. it's also interesting how the other spin-the-wheel game on Dell abruptly ended and hasn't been seen again. It really helped increase DRP and I hope this doesn't feel too rigged to enjoy. Anyway, as you can see, I got 5 ARP and it's going to be quite a journey trying to see if I'll get more. As some of you didn't know, Sony has decided there won't be physical copies of video games to secure better profit and avoid more e-waste by early 2028. Additionally, they're finally shutting the PS3 and Vita stores down and the news has shocked the entire community. I've been using digital and physical media but decided to draw the line with the PS5 being my next and last PSN console. It'll be out of convenience for my massive library and because the PS6 won't apply to me. 4K physical media still exists!
An entire teaser trailer for the upcoming official remake for Resident Evil – Code: Veronica was revealed at Summer Game Fest! It's not only a complete renditioning but is being released in 2027! I've been requesting this remake for years, made an entire YouTube video defending the original, playing a cancelled fan remake of the original, wanted to voice Steve Burnside in both, shared voice clips of myself as my version of Steve and now we have this!
