After seeing the results for the bid, i feel like there's only two solutions/ways to improve it: 1) We never pick again the best/most popular game for the auction (instead we can put like a decent AA game there) 2) We set a max cap to the bid (lets say 8k-10k ARP), so that the omega whales arent automatically guaranteed to win the auctioned game, but instead its kinda of a fine balance between both accumulated ARP and RNG! I dont know about you, but i think i prefer the second option better!

If I remember correctly from the last auction, the people who bid minimum first still got keys while those who bid minimum later missed out, so keys would end up going to whoever bids 10k fastest, and basically be liek a regular vault.

Where for the people the site takes 1-4 minutes to load for would never be able to win. I think once a few big games go through the auction there should be way less whales spending such insane amounts on it.

So, another idea would be to do one mega auction, with like 5 big games to run down all the whales arp at once, so that future auctions can be slightly more possible for the rest of us.

<mention>dreZmoL</mention> - I suspect the top 10 winners will always be on the higher end but, once people burn through their years of accrued ARP, it'll probably be closer to the 10-15K range, with some still winning keys for around 7-9K.

With upgraded Artifacts, logging in every day, and trying to maximize ARP, I earn between 32-35K a year. I always earmark 10K for the DRP in the Marketplace. That leaves me with around 22-25K and a big decision:

Do I save to try and win 1-2 "big" games from the auction or do I grab maybe 6-8 smaller games from the Vault? And, honestly, that's fair. If you're getting 1-2 $60-70+ games each year, essentially for free, you should be happy with that.

It is not like the whale would have infinate amount of ARP. 38k is about 1.5 year worth of online activities if they do everything everyday. This is a great way to reduce the ARP ppl have and get the game to ppl who really want the game.

Option 2. Without a limit no one of newer members can't win because not many have such big amounts of ARP.
