The Track Wedge: Pull the follower tab all the way down. Take a rigid, non-marring object—like a wooden toothpick, a nylon spudger, or a wooden matchstick—and jam it directly into the open sliding track above the follower tab (between the tab and the muzzle). This physically chocks the tab, holding the spring back while you load. Simply pull the wedge out when done.
