Multiplayer Shooter "Mecha BREAK" Announces Surprise Open Beta Test in August

Following a successful showcase at Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase in June, Amazing Seasun Games is thrilled to announce the first-ever Open Beta Test for Mecha BREAK, set for PC players from August 10 to August 13, 2024.

Previous Closed Beta testers, community members, and influencers can enjoy early access via the Limited Access Beta Test from August 2 to August 8.

This Open Beta will spotlight the intense 6v6 Battlefield mode, featuring Mecha BREAK's dynamic, three-axis movement hero shooter gameplay. The latest beta build introduces a new pilotable mech, STEGO, along with significant enhancements to combat pacing, time-to-kill, and an accelerated pace for all mechs.

For a chance to get first dibs, players are encouraged to join the official Mecha BREAK Discord, pre-register on the website, and tune into Twitch for a chance to snag a product key for the Limited Access Beta Test via Twitch Drops. A select number of product keys will also be distributed through the ALIENWARE Arena Giveaway.

The Open Beta will be available to all players via application through the Steam Playtest button on Mecha BREAK store page. The Open Beta is intended to provide a hands-on experience to as many players as possible, while also testing server load and stability. Once the beta servers are live, they will be available to players 24 hours throughout the test, with a short maintenance period between the Limited and Open Access phases. Servers will be available for players in North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific regions.

Mecha BREAK immerses players in the cockpit of their own customized mechs for a clash of steel and plasma unlike any other. With mech designs by renowned artists Takayuki Yanase (known for Metal Gear, Gundam, Armored Core, Death Stranding) and Junya Ishigaki (known for Xenogears, Gundam, Macross), the game offers electrifying gameplay in 3v3 Arena, 6v6 Battlefield, and up to 60-player PvEvP modes.

The game features extensive cosmetic customization, player-created pilots, and a wide array of mech and weapon types across three game modes, ensuring endless engagement. Players can choose from attacker, brawler, defender, sniper, and support mechs, each offering unique playstyles and tools, enhancing player connection to their chosen mechs.

Key features of Mecha BREAK include:

• No Pilot Flies Alone: Join squads of three or six, showcasing exceptional piloting skills to conquer foes and strategically coordinate victories. Take full control and turn the tides of battle in the up to 60-player PvEvP mode, facing ambushes and confronting hostile mechs from other players. • Fully Customizable Mechs: Customize your mech down to its individual parts with precision. Personalize every detail, from full-body paint jobs to unique hues for armor, internal framework, and weaponry. Choose from various colors, wear levels, glosses, and metallic finishes to showcase your unique style. Enhance your mech further with patterns and decals to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
