FYI the new widget is hidden while the forced Twitch ads are running. Thankfully it seems like you still earn ARP even if you never click play, you just won't see the widget unless you let ads finish. Ads sucks so i'll leave it paused.

That linked news thread mentions "mobile", but is the new widget supposed to work in the Twitch app? I failed to earn ARP in that mobile app or on their mobile website. ☹️

It does work on Mobile! You just have to authorize it once (press the alien head underneath the stream itself to open it up).

@Pylawn - Is Android 11 too old for the new widget? Could not find the alien head when using the Twitch app or the Twitch mobile site (Chrome browser).

Extensions on Mobile require the App. I don’t think mobile browsers are compatible

@Pylawn - DOH! After reinstalling the app and searching around again, I realized that the "alien head" wasn't on-screen due to another extension's icon taking precedence.
