No, that is just a feature of the replay. it's a free camera that can switch between all players. If it appears like I am seeing them ahead that is just me being lucky or seeing a few pixels of their characters. This char is OP though

Actually, another character may have that skill active so I'm not 100%, I assume it's a replay feature. I have only played this a little bit so far.
