Hi

I'm about to weep. Last night while I was playing Sims 4 with mods, I decided to add some things to it. I might've added more than that. After dealing with a routine bad mod, the next time I fired up the game, all my mods were nuked from existence! All despite being in a read-only folder. In retrospect, I should've backed it up in the beginning. Now I have to painstakingly review years of mods I've put in there in the first place. Might as well be time to organize them. Terrible holiday day off.

If you right click the folder > Properties and Previous Versions, did Windows do a backup?

<mention>bmurray75</mention> I didn't ask, and your insult and attitude are not welcome. I'm very well acquainted with these things as I've been computing for decades. I'm talking about things well beyond that that, and what I have to do is not an issue.

<mention>bmurray75</mention> You could have avoided starting arguments and deflecting back when someone made it clear to you they didn't want help as they had not asked for it. There's also a lot more than what you're talking about, and it doesn't solve all.

<mention>bmurray75</mention> YOU are the one coming here and harassing me at this point, and starting an argument where there is none. I do not need to know about it. This is not my first rodeo, and your suggestion was not needed. I said to stop, so stop!
