Did they finally add a reason to earn achievements or am I missing something? I'm so confused about these achievement posts.

The Verified Member *might* have some benefits in the future but the rest are cosmetic, like most achievements

No reason other than people wanting a colored jpeg on their achivement page I think. Can't be a sense of accomplishment when people just do low effort spam post.
