Guys, who won the auctions? What quantities of ARP are we talking about? I want to understand if it makes sense for me to even bother with it.

I won one game from the blind auction. I think i used 4000 arp for it (the game was on my wishlist, so 4000 arp is worth it).

It should always be worth it if you are interested in the game. Just put what you think you would pay for it if it were in the game vault. Or what you are happy giving up and still get other things you want. Win or lose not overpaying.

I didn't even know these were a thing. lol. Does the person hosting the giveaway get the ARP that is bid on it?

<mention></mention>Kiksadi Yes, but just a bit. There was news about this option recently.

<mention>Kiksadi</mention> - There is a month-old relay about auctions listed under Announcements.

Some members complain about having tens of thousands of ARP, but constantly failing to get their top pick from the Vault. I imagine they're throwing in some high bids for the better games in Community Giveaways.

<mention>Fruit Punch Samurai</mention> Damn, I guess I'm too poor for this shit..

<mention>Offline</mention> - You can follow the example of some members. Get upset for failing to get a top pick like Silent Hill f in the Vault, and then refuse to buy anything else. Your ARP will pile up. 😝

You can see who won the auction, but it doesn't show you how much they bid.

price will probably will drop after a month or so, as high ARP account finally get to spend & compete with each other. Once the blood bath is over, people will be more picky on allocating their remainder ARP.
