I don't think there is a stock limit, you just need to have the points, if you can't buy an artiffact cause you get in the store only some hours later won't be a good experience and a lot pf users will be extremely disattisfied.

Only the game keys are in limited quantity, and they expect to have enough to satisfy demand, since anybody who goes after an artifact can't also get a key. You'll be fine.
