Snow days are gone away

Dell Rewards updated the expiration to 6 months! They also removed the Dell Dollars, so we can't use that conversion trick to get a longer expiration. The end result is we get the 6 month expiration without having to mess with the conversion tricks. I think this is a win.

It's a downgrade. With the conversion, we could stretch the expiration window to around 8 months, which meant we could actually use all $200/year from the Marketplace on a single item. Without that extention, we're limited to just $150.

I also hate that they completely screwed up the reward history on their site, making it impossible to tell when and how much of my current total will be expiring which is really frustrating.

Those issues aside, I can't be too mad because it's still free money and they just as easily could've wiped out my savings and done away with the program altogether. I'm thankful that's not the case and they're keeping the program intact.

My problem is that they've screwed up the history on the site, PLUS, I have 2 conflicting expiration dates.

In theory, you can purchase DRP but leave it unclaimed, potentially keeping it in stasis indefinitely, but I've never tried it because I've always fearied that it would vanish if it wasn't claimed past a certain point.

Previously Dell Points converted to Dell Dollars. The issue is Dell didn't convert existing Points and Dollars correctly into the new Rewards Balance and many users lost their points

I had a lot of DRP but was unable to use it as the account an AWA was closed on dell sometime ago :( going to have fix that

I had 430$ that just disappeared if it's not back soon they gone hear about it.
