Observer: System Redux Steam Game Giveaway What's even the point of doing this, the keys were gone in less than 10 seconds, and 1:00pm EST on a Wednesday most people are at work.
Clearly bots are scooping up the keys to sell on key sites. Something needs to change.

At the same time, I received Agatha Christie - Murder on the Orient Express from a giveaway from "another laptop manufacturer" without any problems. Dell might make better hardware, but they don't know how to handle game giveaways.

Honestly, I don't even know how people get notified of the giveaways here. I haven't been able to participate in one in ages because the keys are gone by the time I look at the page.

there is no notification, and that's the biggest problem

Yup, the only people who get a notification are ones running bots on the site. I just happened to check the site on my lunch break and when I flipped back to the main page I saw the giveway had appeared. So it was only a matter of minutes.

There probably weren't more than 1000 keys available (it was down to around 850 when I got mine) and there are easily more than ten times that many active users. Most people were just never going to get a key regardless.

But if you want notification then you should stay active on Discord because I guarantee those folks knew about the giveaway the instant it got posted.

Good info here everyone. I'm alright with missing out on a freebie. Just wondered how quickly the system worked.
