Giveaways typically get posted around 1PM ET and keys rarely last more than a few hours, if that (depending on the Tier requirements and value/desirability of the game).

For the Vault, make sure you're signed in and have the Vault page open a few minutes before it opens, refresh the page the instant it opens, and hope that you're fast and lucky. Try to stay positive even if you miss out.
